The leaders and their spouses of the two countries looked at Budapest together, enjoying the beautiful scenery on both sides of the Danube River.
Orban introduced to Xi Jinping the history, development changes and planning prospects of Budapest, and said that Chinese enterprises have made important contributions to Hungary's economic development and urban construction. Many projects contracted by China have become flagship projects of bilateral cooperation and symbols of friendship. China's technology is leading the world in many aspects. Hungary expects to carry out more cooperation with China, introduce more advanced Chinese technology, and help Hungary's national development and improve people's livelihood.
Xi Jinping thanked Orban for his warm invitation and meticulous arrangements. Xi Jinping said that I have not only felt the historical tradition of Budapest here, but also seen new vitality, deepened my understanding of Hungary and left a precious memory. After 15 years, I am deeply impressed by Hungary's development achievements. China Hungary exchanges and cooperation have contributed to China's reform and opening up. At present, China is comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese style modernization. China's high-quality development and opening up will provide more opportunities for Hungary. China is willing to strengthen economic and technological exchanges and cooperation with Hungary to promote the two countries to achieve more development achievements and create a better life for the two peoples.
The leaders of the two countries sat at the window, watched the clouds roll out of the window, talked about their growth experiences and thoughts on governance, exchanged views on important issues of common concern, and reached many consensus.
Xi Jinping introduced the centennial history of the Communist Party of China and the important concept of governing the party and the country, pointing out that the Communist Party of China has grown from a small party with only a few dozen members to a large party with more than 98 million members, withstood many severe tests along the way, and led China to achieve today's success. We are confident that we will continue to overcome various risks and challenges on the way forward and maintain China's long-term stability and development, not only to enable the Chinese people to live a better life, but also to make greater contributions to world peace and development.
