According to《 Shanghai Futures Exchange In the Announcement on the Arrangement of Market Closure in 2024 (No. 127 [2023] of the last Stock Exchange Announcement), the relevant work arrangements for the New Year's Day are as follows:
1、 There will be no night trading on Friday, December 29, 2023.
The market will be closed from December 30, 2023 (Saturday) to January 1, 2024 (Monday).
At 08:55-09:00 on January 2, 2024 (Tuesday), all futures and options contracts will be collectively auctioned, and the night trading will resume.
2、 Since the closing and settlement on December 28, 2023 (Thursday), the limit range and the proportion of trading margin are adjusted as follows:
The fluctuation limit of alumina futures contracts was adjusted to 8%, the margin ratio for hedging transactions was adjusted to 9%, and the margin ratio for speculative transactions was adjusted to 10%.
The price limit of fuel oil and petroleum asphalt futures contracts was adjusted to 9%, the margin ratio of hedging transactions was adjusted to 10%, and the margin ratio of speculative transactions was adjusted to 11%.
The price limit of butadiene rubber futures contracts was adjusted to 11%, the margin ratio of hedging transactions was adjusted to 12%, and the margin ratio of speculative transactions was adjusted to 13%.
In case of any circumstance specified in Article 12 of the Administrative Measures for Risk Control of the Shanghai Futures Exchange, the above trading margin ratio and the limit range of up and down shall be adjusted.
3、 After trading on January 2, 2024 (Tuesday), since the closing settlement of the first trading day without unilateral market, the limit range and the proportion of trading margin are adjusted as follows:
The range of limit of price and the proportion of trading margin of all futures contracts have recovered to the original level.
If the above limit range and the proportion of trading margin are different from the limit range and the proportion of trading margin executed, the higher and larger proportion of the two shall prevail.
All relevant units are requested to do a good job in risk prevention to ensure a stable market and smooth delivery.
