Guangzhou Foshan South Ring Railway and Foshan Dongguan Intercity Railway will be officially put into operation on May 26, 2021. These two intercity lines are operated by Guangzhou Metro Group, with a total mileage of 318.6km. They are centered on Panyu Station and connect with Guangzhou Zhaotong Intercity in the west and Guangzhou Huizhou Intercity in the east, spanning five cities, namely Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhaoqing, Dongguan and Huizhou. There are 39 stations along the line, including 5 in Guangzhou, 9 in Foshan, 6 in Zhaoqing, 12 in Dongguan and 7 in Huizhou. The maximum speed of the train is 200 km/h.

In terms of ticket price, the ticket price for the section from Zhaoqing to Foshan is 47 yuan, the ticket price for the section from Foshan West to Panyu is 21 yuan, the ticket price for the section from Panyu to Dongguan West is 22 yuan, and the ticket price for the section from Dongguan West to Huizhou Xiaojinkou is 59 yuan. The whole journey is 153 yuan.
