The longest cross city subway in China is 258km long

On May 16, the longest cross city "subway" in China was officially put into operation. This railway spans five cities, namely Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Zhaoqing and Huizhou, and is connected with the opened inter city railway between Foshan and Zhaoqing, and the inter city railway between Dongguan and Huizhou, realizing seamless connection of the five cities.

According to official news, Guangfo South Ring (Foshan West Railway Station - Panyu Station) and Foshan Dongguan Intercity Railway (Panyu Station - Dongguan West Railway Station) were put into use on the same day, and connected with the already opened Foshan Zhaoqing Intercity Railway (Foshan West Railway Station - Zhaoqing Station) and Dongguan Huizhou Intercity Railway (Dongguan West Railway Station - Xiaojinkou Station), realizing the "four line connection" operation mode.

It is reported that among the nine inland cities in Dawan District, the total cross city commuting population has reached 1.2 million, and the daily travel volume has exceeded 6 million person times. Between Guangzhou and the Bay Area cities alone, the daily travel volume has reached 3.07 million person times.

This 258km long traffic artery across five cities will soon be put into use. Therefore, we can clearly see the continuous emergence of Guangfo migratory birds, Shenguan migratory birds and Shenhui migratory birds.

It is not difficult to understand that Guangdong took the lead in opening the intercity subway.
