The performance of MediaTek's Tianji 9300 has been greatly improved. The latest revelations show that next year, MediaTek's flagship chip Tianji 9400 will be upgraded to TSMC's 3nm process, and its performance is expected to surpass Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen4 chip.
According to the news, Tianji 9400 will adopt the N3E process of TSMC. Although the TSMC N3B process used with Apple A17 Pro is a 3nm process, the N3E process is expected to be better. Industry insiders said that the yield and metal stacking performance of TSMC N3B process are poor, so it will not become the main process node choice of TSMC.
