Wuhan Military Games Main Media Center Achieves Full 5G Signal Coverage

The reporter learned that the Wuhan Military Games will create a "reporter's home" - the main media center during the Games, so as to meet the reporting needs of different countries, languages and media forms, and at the same time, advocate frugality in hosting the Games.

The main media center of the military games is located at the bank of the triangle lake of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone, adjacent to the Wuhan Sports Center, the venue of the opening ceremony of the military games. Take Metro Line 3 to Exit A of Sports Center Station.

The shape of the main media center is like an aircraft carrier, and the facade is white hollowed out. The first and second floors above the ground are the Main Press Center (MPC), which mainly serves literal and photojournalists; 3、 The fourth floor is the International Broadcasting and Television Center (IBC), which mainly serves TV media.

Enter from the west gate and set up a service desk. At that time, media reporters can report, consult and make service requests here.

In the middle of the first floor of the main media center, there is a media workshop. 350 stations are arranged in order, which can accommodate 240 reporters and 96 photographers at the same time. On each station, there are power sockets, broadband interfaces and multi-channel audio system interfaces supporting the live broadcast of events on the wall electronic screen.

At the service desk of the media workshop, journalists can rent photography and video equipment. There are hundreds of small grids beside the wall, and the staff will put the printed results of each game at the first time for reporters to read.

It is reported that the basic broadband of the entire main media center has reached 8G, and the full coverage of 5G signals has been achieved. At that time, some paper media and radio stations will also set up studios to produce video programs. The most advanced international television technology will be widely used in the TV broadcast production at the main media center during the Games.

"Thrift is a major feature of the competition." It is reported that the restaurant originally planned to be built inside the main media center was later rebuilt into the courtyard of Wuhan Sports Center, which is a temporary facility. After the game, the main media center will be transformed into a skating rink.
