During the epidemic prevention and control period, the cleaning and disinfection of toilets, especially public toilets, should be strengthened to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission. The Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention reminds the following points:

After 30 minutes of action, the toilet should be wiped with clean water.
The Beijing Municipal Center for Disease Control and Prevention pointed out that on the basis of the above disinfection measures, the number of disinfection times of public toilets should be adjusted according to the use frequency of personnel. Pay attention to the following key links when disinfecting the toilet:
First, the disinfectant is toxic and irritating to a certain extent. Pay attention to personal protection during preparation and use, including masks, hats, gloves and work clothes. It is recommended to wear protective glasses to prevent splashing eyes, nose and mouth when preparing the disinfectant.
Second, the disinfectant has a certain corrosivity, and it should be wiped with clean water after the disinfection time is reached to prevent damage to the sterilized items.
Third, carefully read the instructions of disinfection products before using disinfectants, and use them correctly in strict accordance with the scope of use, method of use, concentration of action, and time of action specified in the instructions.
Fourth, the disinfectant used should be within the validity period, and the disinfectant must be prepared for use.
