In April 2023, due to major changes in production and shortage of funds, a Huangshi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. will be unable to pay the wages of 14 employees, including Xu, Guo and Wu. The employees, worried about the loss of salary, sued the company in December of that year. The labor dispute case was then transferred to Xialu District for mediation.

After communicating with the employing enterprise, the mediator of the studio found that the enterprise had a receivable that would be ready in mid May 2024. Mediators take this as a breakthrough point to carry out mediation work around the priority of repaying the wages owed. Through the unremitting efforts of the mediators, the employing enterprises expressed their understanding of the mediation sincerity of Xialu District Federation of Trade Unions and the reasonable demands of employees, and were willing to solve the problem of wage arrears.

At the beginning of this year, 14 employees reached a settlement agreement in their lawsuit involving nearly 400000 yuan of salary, and with the assistance of the studio, they completed the court's judicial confirmation application procedures. Xialu District Federation of Trade Unions actively followed up the implementation to ensure that every employee received his due salary on time. On May 17, the salary owed by the employing enterprise was fulfilled.

The studio was jointly founded by Xialu District Federation of Trade Unions and District People's Court in August 2022. Since the establishment of the studio, 130 dispute cases have been settled through mediation, involving about 4.7 million yuan.
