CAMCE News (Worker's Daily - CAMCE reporter Li Guo) Recently, the Chongqing Municipal Public Security Bureau Water Police Corps organized the city's public security organs to carry out professional skills training on water. The training insisted on promoting application through learning and fighting through practice, focused on the practical needs of public security on water, and targeted to set up a professional course of "learning, training and research" integrated public security on water, aiming to comprehensively improve the level of front-line police's law enforcement ability in water areas. More than 80 relevant leaders and business backbones from 41 district and county public security organs, Chongqing Branch of Changhang Public Security Bureau, Wanzhou Branch and other units participated in the training.
In the theoretical training, the instructors of the Marine Police Corps also focused on the work of the aquatic public security center, focusing on explaining the normative documents such as the Guidelines for Handling Drowning Rescue Police Situations and the Guidelines for Safety Protection of Dangerous Public Waters prepared by the Corps in the form of pictures and texts, so as to provide strong support for regulating the law enforcement on water.
In the simulated environment of the swimming pool, the instructor explained in detail many subjects involved in the water rescue, such as the throwing of life buoys and life rope bags, the rescue posture of entering the water, the protection and release in the water, and the towing skills on the water. The police participating in the training can truly feel the whole process of water rescue through practical experience and group cooperation in rescue.
"This training is new in form and rich in content, which really benefits me a lot.", The trainees went to the third batch of "Maple Bridge type police stations" in China - Ciqikou police station of the Water Branch and some "Internet celebrity" key waters in the main city for field investigation. Everyone "looked, listened, asked and remembered in time", and "immersed" in learning and experiencing various work experiences and typical measures of the water police.
In the subsequent exchange and discussion, the police involved in the training also carried out in-depth discussions on aspects such as water security management, water law enforcement standardization construction, etc. Everyone spoke enthusiastically, expressed their opinions, shared their own experience and achievements, and jointly discussed new ideas for the development of water public security work.
Everyone said that the training was focused, rich in content, diverse in form, and highly targeted and practical. After returning, we should combine the knowledge and skills we have learned with post practice, promote the water security management to a new level, and constantly contribute to the construction of safe waters.
