On May 14, the semi-final of the Yangtze River Delta Excellent Nursing Service Improvement Case Competition was held in Hefei, Anhui Province.
In order to improve the quality of nursing services in the Yangtze River Delta, the Anhui Provincial Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Union, the Shanghai Medical Union, the Jiangsu Provincial Education and Technology Union, and the Zhejiang Provincial Education Trade Union jointly held an excellent case contest for improving nursing services in three provinces and one city, which was organized by the First Affiliated Institute of China University of Science and Technology (Anhui Provincial Hospital). Each competition area held trials respectively, and 282 excellent cases involving three groups of humanistic services and patient care, quality improvement and patient safety, and intelligent care and process optimization were qualified for the second round. At the competition site, nursing evaluation experts from six provinces and cities scored the cases from the five evaluation dimensions of basic indicators, professional indicators, effectiveness indicators, promotion indicators and case writing, and from the aspects of scientificity, standardization, promotion value and so on, and finally selected excellent cases to be promoted to the final. At that time, the excellent case participants who have advanced to the final will participate in the contest, including theoretical knowledge test and on-site explanation and defense (combined with PPT) report of excellent cases of improving nursing services, to compete for the place in the contest.
