A scholar is a happy person

I often think that a scholar is a happy person in the world, because he has a broader and richer world besides the real world. The real world is everyone's, but the latter world is unique to scholars. Therefore, I think that those who lose or cannot read are so unfortunate, and their loss is irreparable. There are many inequalities in the world, such as wealth inequality and power inequality, while the possession or loss of reading ability is reflected in spiritual inequality.
A person's life can only experience the joy and suffering he has, and perhaps the experience and experience he has personally heard about other than himself. However, people can enter the world of many others in different time and space through reading. In this way, people who have the ability to read can virtually obtain the infinite possibility of transcending the limited life. Reading not only made him know more about the names of plants, insects and fish, but also could go back to ancient times, down to the future, and enjoy the strange customs of existence and non existence.
More importantly, what reading benefits people is not only the expansion of knowledge, but also the spiritual influence and cultivation. People learn their personality from reading and learning, and from the writings of ancient philosophers and contemporary talents. People learn wisdom from the Analects of Confucius, serious historical spirit from the Records of the Historian, and strong personality from the Song of Integrity; Learn from Marx the passion of the world, from Lu Xun the critical spirit, and from Tolstoy the moral perseverance. Goethe's poem depicts a wise life, while Byron's poem calls for enthusiasm for struggle. A scholar, a lucky person who has the opportunity to have more than personal life experience.
