Wang Jinxi, a native of Yumen, Gansu Province, is one of the first batch of oil drilling workers in New China and a famous national model worker.

In 1938, at the age of 15, Wang Jinxi joined Yumen Petroleum Company as a worker. After the founding of New China, he successively served as the drilling team leader of Yumen Petroleum Administration Bureau, the drilling team leader of Daqing Oilfield 1205, and the deputy commander of Daqing Oilfield Drilling Headquarters. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1956.

He led the 1205 drilling crew to work hard to make the first oil well in Daqing and set a world drilling record of 100000 meters per year, demonstrating the spirit of Daqing's oil workers, making great contributions to China's oil industry and becoming a red flag of China's industrial front.

Liu Erhao, once the chief operator of No. 5 blast furnace of Chenggang Iron and Steel Co., Ltd., director of the technical office, is the chief operator of No. 4 blast furnace operation area and secretary of the Party branch. He constantly optimized the raw material structure of the blast furnace, saved more than 5 yuan/ton of iron for the blast furnace, and formulated and implemented the blast furnace operation mode of "full blast oxygen, full top pressure, high differential pressure, and high kinetic energy". The maximum daily iron output exceeded 7500t, and the monthly weighted average vanadium content in hot metal reached more than 0.285%, creating the best level in the history of 2500m3 vanadium titanium magnetite smelting blast furnace. During his tenure as the chief operator of No. 4 blast furnace, he continued to innovate technology, strictly managed production connection and optimized daily operation. In 2020, Liu Erhao was rated as a model worker in Chengde.
