It is estimated that from 20:00 on May 18 to 20:00 on May 19, there will be heavy rain in parts of central and western Guangdong, most of Guangxi, western Guizhou, southern Sichuan Basin, eastern Yunnan, eastern Chongqing, and southwestern Hubei. Among them, there will be heavy rain (100~200mm) in parts of western Guangdong, southeastern Guangxi, and other places. Some of the above areas are accompanied by short-time heavy rainfall (the maximum hourly rainfall is 20~50 mm, and the local rainfall can exceed 70 mm), and there are thunderstorms, gales and other severe convective weather locally. In addition, there are heavy rains in parts of southeast Inner Mongolia, northern Liaoning, central and western Jilin, etc.

Defense Guide:

1. The government and relevant departments shall do a good job in preventing rainstorm according to their responsibilities;

2. The traffic management department shall take traffic control measures in heavy rainfall sections according to the road conditions, and implement traffic guidance in waterlogged sections;

3. Cut off the dangerous outdoor power supply in low-lying areas, suspend outdoor operations in open areas, and transfer people in dangerous areas and residents in dangerous houses to safe places to shelter from rain;

4. Check the drainage system of cities, farmland and fish ponds, and take necessary drainage measures.
