As can be seen from the latest national spring progress chart released by the China Weather Network, as of today (April 18), more than two-thirds of the country's territory has entered the meteorological sense of spring, the northernmost end of spring has reached the northern part of Heilongjiang, and all provincial capital cities in the north have completed the spring progress.

According to Shi Yan, a meteorological analyst at China Weather Network, in March this year, the temperature in most parts of China was on the high side, and several consecutive big warming also made the spring process significantly ahead of the usual time. Spring in North China, the Yellow River and Huaihe River, the eastern part of the northwest region and other places reported in advance. Since April, the temperature in eastern Inner Mongolia and northeast China has also been significantly higher than that of the normal year. Although there were cold air activities during this period, the intensity was weak and the scope of impact was limited. Therefore, most of the northeast also ushered in the spring in the sense of meteorology in advance, about 10 days earlier than that of the normal year.

In spring, the region expanded significantly to the north, while in summer, the region also expanded significantly. Up to now, the summer frontier has reached southern Hunan, southern Jiangxi, and central Fujian, significantly earlier than usual. In addition, the temperature in the west of Sichuan Basin and some parts of Chongqing in recent ten days is not only significantly high, but also stable. Therefore, summer also came early.

The sphere of influence in winter is mainly concentrated in the Qinghai Tibet Plateau, and some winter remains in northern Xinjiang, northeast Inner Mongolia, northwest Heilongjiang and other places.

How early does spring come this year? According to the big data of spring on the China Weather Network, 26 provincial capital cities in China this year have earlier spring than the average annual date. Urumqi, Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Changchun and Taiyuan are 5-9 days earlier than usual, Shenyang, Beijing, Tianjin, Shijiazhuang, Nanchang, Xining, Harbin, Hohhot, Yinchuan, Jinan, Chengdu and Guiyang are 12-19 days earlier than usual, and Lhasa, Wuhan, Changsha, Kunming and Hangzhou are more than 20 days earlier than usual.

However, Shi Yan also said that although it was generally early in spring in most parts of China this year, the temperature fluctuation was still large after spring. For example, Jiangnan and other places, where spring began early in February, suffered from continuous cold and rainy weather at the beginning of March, and felt cold again.

In the next few days, this transition will also happen again. Today, the temperature in North China, the Yellow River and Huaihe River has reached a new high this year, and the highest temperature in Beijing and Jinan is even close to 30 ℃. From tomorrow, affected by a cold air, North China and its southern regions will generally experience a temperature drop of more than 8 ℃, with a local drop of more than 10 ℃, and the temperature will change from the current significantly high to low. In the later period, when the cold air descends southward and the rainfall is superimposed, the temperature in the south will also decline, and it will also fall to a low state around the 21st.
