Zhengcheng No. 1 Junior High School in Pingyi County was named "Shandong Meteorological Science Popularization Demonstration Station" by Shandong Meteorological Bureau and Shandong Meteorological Society in November 2023. In the past two years, the county meteorological bureau and Zhengcheng Middle School have established a cooperation mechanism for education and science popularization. The school took this opportunity to establish the development idea of "building a school with meteorological culture characteristics". Regularly organize students to carry out popularization activities of meteorological knowledge. After the awarding ceremony, the staff of the county meteorological bureau introduced the meteorological disaster warning signals, cloud types, the process of making weather forecasts and the prevention knowledge of rainstorm, thunder and lightning and other meteorological disasters to the students in simple words and dynamic and interesting pictures. In class, the students listened carefully and interacted actively. The atmosphere was relaxed and active.
