(Chief reporter Liu Chenmin) On March 16, a new "environmental protection public welfare run" was launched in the Water Park of Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang City. This is a garbage classification activity jointly carried out by the Comprehensive Administrative Law Enforcement Team of Lianmeng Neighborhood Office of Xinhua District, Shijiazhuang No. 42 Middle School and Lianmeng Community Neighborhood Committee with the theme of "garbage classification at the fingertips, green environmental protection in mind". Through the combination of education and sports, this activity appeals to the general public to pay attention to environmental protection, actively participate in garbage classification, green travel, and jointly build a beautiful home.

Before the volunteer activities, the students of Class 8, Grade 1 of Shijiazhuang No. 42 Middle School watched the environmental protection video "Earth Publicity Day", and learned about garbage classification together, forming a strong atmosphere of volunteer action, which laid a good foundation for follow-up volunteer action.

At about 8:30, the activity officially started. Some students set out on the journey of "environmental protection and public welfare run" with volunteer red flags and garbage collection tools. While jogging, they picked up garbage along the way and passed on the concept of environmental protection with practical actions. At the same time, the Alliance street garbage classification volunteers and other students set up a publicity booth in the park's crowded tourist area to distribute garbage classification proposals. They publicized waste classification knowledge to tourists and conducted interactive Q&A, with questions covering the classification standards and delivery methods of various wastes. Tourists actively participated and competed for answers. The atmosphere was tense and pleasant. Whenever someone answers the question correctly, volunteers and students will give tourists handicrafts made of waste materials as rewards to encourage them to adhere to garbage classification in their daily life.
