Changshan drums, dragon and lion dances, rowing boats, and running bamboo horses... 13 characteristic folk programs were launched brilliantly, and the sixth Wuxing Village Folk Art and Culture Festival was held in a red hot way.
Wuxing Village has a history of more than 2700 years, with a profound cultural atmosphere and unique folk customs. In order to further strengthen cultural construction, activate and utilize the cultural heritage of ancient villages, Wuxing Village has held a folk art and culture festival since 2015.
The snowflakes flying all over the sky can not stop the enthusiasm of the actors and the masses. On the kilometre long Zhongxing Street, there are many lively and festive folk performances, including the mighty lion dance, the beautiful flower pulling, the warships with costumes, and the intangible cultural heritage Lagoulou. The brilliant performances have won the cheers and applause of the masses.
The performance of Lagouou in Wuxing Village is full of strong rural flavor of Hebei, which has a history of more than 160 years. The wonderful performances of six villagers, mainly rap, supplemented by Yangko and dance style body performances, attracted many villagers.
This activity made more people feel the charm of folk art. Next, Xin'an Town of Zhengding County will continue to enrich the connotation and form of folk art and culture festival, and strive to create a unique folk culture tourism brand project.
