On June 30, the Shenzhong Channel, a national major project built for seven years, was officially opened for trial operation, and the drive from Shenzhen to Zhongshan was shortened from 2 hours to 30 minutes. The Shenzhen China Channel is the key "one horizontal" of the "A" shaped transportation network framework around the Pearl River estuary, crossing the Lingdingyang Bay, enabling the two urban agglomerations of "Shenzhen, Dongguan and Huizhou" and "Pearl River" to realize a direct connection across the sea. With a total length of about 24km, Shenzhen China Channel integrates "bridges, islands, tunnels and underwater communication", and is one of the most difficult cross sea cluster projects in the world.
