Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, May 22 The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on the 22nd the decision to take countermeasures against US military enterprises and senior managers. The full text is as follows:

Decision on Taking Countermeasures against US Military Enterprises and Senior Managers

(Promulgated by Decree No. 7 of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China on May 22, 2024, and effective as of May 22, 2024)

For some time, the United States has ignored China's objective and just position and constructive role in the Ukrainian crisis, abused illegal unilateral sanctions against many Chinese entities on the grounds of so-called Russian factors, and engaged in unilateral bullying and economic coercion, seriously violating the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises, institutions and individuals. At the same time, the United States continued to sell weapons to Taiwan, seriously violating the one China principle and the provisions of the three Sino US joint communiques, seriously interfering in China's internal affairs and seriously harming China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

In accordance with Articles 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 15 of the Anti Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, China has decided to take countermeasures against the following US military enterprises and senior managers:

1、 For Lockheed Martin Missile and Fire Control, Lockheed Martin Aviation, Javelin Joint Venture, Raytheon Missile Systems, General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems, General Dynamics Information Technology, General Dynamics Mission Systems, Intercoastal Electronics, System Research and Simulation, Tieshan Solutions, Application Technology Group 12 enterprises listed in the attached Counter list, including Akesent, frozen movable property, real property and other types of property in China.

2、 Casey Walden (chairman, CEO and president of Northrop Grumman), Matthew Bloomberg (vice president of global operations of Northrop Grumman), Benjamin Davis (vice president and general manager of strategic deterrence system of Northrop Grumman), Thomas Jones (vice president and president of aviation system of Northrop Grumman) Stephen O'Brien (Vice President of Northrop Grumman, Global Business Development Officer), Rosan Roeder (Vice President of Northrop Grumman, President of Defense Systems), Philat Gezen (Vice President of General Dynamics, President of General Dynamics Armament and Tactical Systems), Jason Aiken (Executive Vice President of General Dynamics in charge of technology department) Amy Gigeland (senior vice president of General Dynamics, president of General Dynamics Information Technology), Christopher Brady (vice president of General Dynamics, president of General Dynamics Mission Systems) and other 10 senior managers of the enterprise listed in the attached Counter List are not allowed to issue visas or enter (including Hong Kong and Macao).

This Decision shall come into force on May 22, 2024.
