By the end of April this year, more than 89000 China EU trains had been operated, reaching 223 cities in 25 European countries.

The channel capacity continues to expand. China Railway Group has continued to carry out the transportation test of the China Europe Express Xi'an, Chongqing, Yiwu Poti, Georgia, and Istanbul South Passage in Turkey, and successfully launched the China Europe Express across the Caspian Sea and the Black Sea from Urumqi, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, to Salerno, Italy. The transportation organization of the China Europe Express South Passage is becoming increasingly mature. From January to April, Nantong Road accumulatively operated 12 China Europe trains, up 71% year on year.

The transport efficiency has been continuously enhanced. China Railway Group has strengthened cooperation with railway departments of neighboring countries to improve the efficiency of China Europe regular train transportation and save transportation costs. Strengthen communication and coordination with customs, border inspection and other departments, actively promote the rapid customs clearance mode of railway, coordinate overseas railway enterprises to increase the efforts of vehicle pickup and reloading, improve the port transport efficiency and customs clearance facilitation level, and the number of ports operating in the west (Alashankou, Khorgos), central (Erenhot), and east (Manzhouli, Suifenhe, Tongjiangbei) increased by 11%, 14% 7%。
