The reporter learned from China Railway Nanning Bureau Group Co., Ltd. that at 8:00 on May 12, the X9596 West Land Sea New Channel Rail Sea Combined Transport Train loaded with polyethylene from the United Arab Emirates, coconut sugar from Sri Lanka, leisure shoes from Vietnam and other goods departed from Guangxi Qinzhou Port East Station and headed for Chongqing Tuanjie Village Station. As of December 12, this year, the rail sea intermodal freight train on the new land sea channel in the west has exceeded 300000 TEUs, reaching 303000 TEUs.

"This year, the export goods transported by the rail sea intermodal train on the new land sea channel in the west are mainly automobile parts, motorcycle spare parts and generator parts, and the import goods transported are mainly Indonesian shortening, Vietnamese pulp, etc., with 1143 kinds of goods being transported," said Huang Jiangnan, head of Qinzhou Port East Station of Guangxi Coastal Railway Co., Ltd.

In order to improve the capacity of train transportation points and lines, Guangxi Coastal Railway Co., Ltd. promoted the road enterprise joint office of three major ports in Qinzhou, Beihai and Fangchenggang to share the information of shipping dates, berths and goods in real time, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of loading. At the same time, we will promote the integrated operation of Qinzhou Railway Container Central Station and Beibu Gulf Port Automated Terminal, jointly bring them into customs supervision, reduce port connections, and save more than 100 yuan in transportation costs per container; Promote the implementation of railway sea intermodal transport projects such as the launching of 35t wide body boxes, reduce the operation links such as container dismantling, container changing and transportation, and empty container allocation, so as to achieve "one box to the end" and reduce logistics costs.
