The number of products listed on major data exchanges in China exceeds 13000

This was introduced by Liu Liehong, Director of the National Data Administration, at the launching ceremony of the 2024 "Data Elements×" Competition on the 9th. The 2024 "data elements×" competition, held by the National Data Administration in conjunction with relevant departments, was officially launched in Hefei, Anhui Province on the same day, which is the first nationwide competition focusing on the development and application of data elements.

Liu Liehong said that in recent years, China's digital economy has flourished and the total amount of data has grown rapidly, laying a solid foundation for giving play to the multiplier effect of data elements. At the beginning of this year, the three-year action plan of "data elements×" (2024-2026) was released and achieved remarkable results. Activating the value of data has become the consensus of all circles.

In order to better release the multiplier effect of data elements, the 2024 "Data Elements×" competition will take the theme of "data enabling multiplier to go up", and build a display platform for typical achievements of data element applications and excellent teams to promote the release of data element values by mining application scenarios in typical fields of data elements.

It is reported that the competition runs through the whole year, including several local sub competitions and one final. As the first local sub race, Anhui sub race was launched on September 9 at the same time. Beijing, Hunan, Zhejiang and other places will hold the sub race from May to September this year, choosing different industry tracks according to local conditions. Projects that have won the recommendation qualification in local sub competitions and other competitions will compete on the same stage in the finals in the fourth quarter of this year.

Luan Jie, Deputy Director of the Policy and Planning Department of the National Data Bureau, said that she would adhere to the "open door competition", strengthen the application orientation, and promote the transformation of achievements, so that the competition would become a professional platform for all parties to compete together and an innovative highland to solve the difficulties in the development of the industry.
