The organizers said that the Gulangyu Poetry Festival will promote poetry to the public, enrich the cultural life of the masses and promote the development of Xiamen's culture, economy and tourism through "poetry+music", "poetry+culture", "poetry+art" and other forms.

This Gulangyu Poetry Festival is under the guidance of the Chinese Writers Association and the Xiamen Municipal People's Government, sponsored by the Gulangyu Wanshishan Scenic Area Management Committee, the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Poetry Publishing House and the Chinese Poetry Society, undertaken by Xiamen Daily, and co organized by Xiamen Airlines and China Mobile Migu.

From April 28 to 30, Thomas Thoth, a British national treasure musician, performed several times in Gulangyu Organ Art Center, which has brought a lot of people who like organ to their ears. In addition, at the Gulangyu Concert Hall, the poetry recitation concert of "Poetry, Gulang, Music, and Qindao", the special pluck music concert of "Poetry, Music, Landscape", and the special Erhu concert of "Integrating the World into Erhu" Gao Shaoqing will be staged successively.

From May 1 to 4, 16:30-18:00, on the beach behind Gangzai, Gulangyu Island, you will also meet with the original Minnan concert, classic folk music concert, nostalgic classic sea breeze concert, trendy rock concert, etc. In summer, the sea breeze blows, arms stretch, heart beat and drum beat resonate, and Gulangyu's youthful, fashionable and dynamic side is fully displayed.

The collision of poetry with market and technology is also expected. In the AI era, poetry has infinite possibilities. From May 1 to 4, "Neighborhood Poetry Contest", "Modern Poets", "Flash Reading" and other activities will invite "Neighborhood Poets" with unique skills to Gulangyu to show their charm, fight poetry with citizens and tourists, and "show their fists" on the flash stage.

After fighting poetry, you might as well come to a market for poetry to feel the "fireworks" and "cultural flavor". The poetry market opens at Housha Beach, Hong Kong Aberdeen, and will last until May 4. It is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day.

There are nearly 20 booths in the market, copying poetry calligraphy, drawing fan AR "Shikong Tunnel" DIY exclusive poetry and other rich activities invite you to experience reading, writing and creation through the market, and experience a "poet addiction".
