The Fifth Fujian Folk Art Laurel Award Competition Ends

On September 14, the Southeast Network (reporter Chen Nan, correspondent Lu Jing) yesterday, the fifth Fujian Quyi Dan Gui Award Competition, which was co sponsored by Fujian Federation of Literary and Art Circles and Fujian Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and organized by Fujian Quyi Association, ended in Fuzhou.

It is reported that Fujian Folk Art Dan Gui Award is the only pure folk art professional event brand in Fujian Province. It has two sub events: children's competition and (adult) competition. One sub event event is held every year. Since 2014, 10 sub events have been held successfully. This competition closely follows the pulse of the times, sticks to the people's position, adheres to integrity and innovation, focuses on the prosperity and development of our province's folk art cause, focuses on the outstanding traditional Chinese culture, Fujian's local culture and other themes, launches a batch of excellent folk art works that focus on the new era, reflect the new life, and show the new style, and strives to enrich the people's spiritual world and enhance the people's spiritual strength.

The contest will be launched in April 2023 and will be conducted in three rounds. The first round of audition will be organized by each district and city, the second round will be a video contest, and the third round will be a live final. After audition, 35 quyi texts and 79 quyi works videos (including 58 actors/performers participating in individual awards) were received from all districts, cities and universities, covering Nanyin, Fuzhou Pinghua, Fuzhou Cheyi, Jinge, Nanping Nanci, Tanzui Drum, South Fujian Talking Ancient, West Fujian Rap, Lotus Leaf Rap, Gezai Rap, Puxian Talking Ancient There are more than 20 rich forms of music, including Jiangle Nanci, Putian Money Tree, Puxian Eight Music, Fu'an Pinghua, Bang Gudong, story, sketch, crosstalk, storytelling, clapper talk, and Shulaibao. In order to ensure the fairness, justice, preciseness and order of the competition, the judges of the competition review team are Fujian well-known artists from the fields of screenwriters, directors, quyi performances, art criticism, music, and so on, and the supervision and review are two specially assigned persons from the discipline inspection commission of the sponsor. The jury of the competition completed the blind evaluation of the "Writers' Award" in June, and in July, 50 places were selected for the finals of the three major awards, including the program award, the performance award, and the new talent award.

From September 10 to 13, the finals of the competition were held in Xiamen and Fuzhou for 4 professional and 2 non professional troupes. More than 250 quyi practitioners and enthusiasts from districts, cities and universities across the province gathered to compete.

In September, the Quyi Arena was shining with stars, and the northern and southern Quyi varieties were shining together. Professional Quyi practitioners and non professional Quyi lovers gathered friends with each other to compete for beauty on the stage, and to sing and rap together to create the annual Quyi feast. The Nanyin "Wenji Returning to Han", Fuzhou Cheyi "Bai Lu Yin", Fuzhou Pinghua "Ba Zhen Lou", Jinge "Singing Shangshu", Nanci "Da Hong Pao Legend", which are sincerely interpreted by Xiamen Nanyuan Orchestra, Fuzhou Pinghua Cheyi Chuan Xi Institute, Zhangzhou Gezi Opera (Xiangju Opera) Inheritance and Protection Center, Nanping Nanci Art Inheritance and Development Center, etc 13 other works fully display the wonderful charm of the five major types of music in Fujian, and show the excellent artistic practice achievements of our provincial folk art professional troupes in the past two years; Twenty one works were rehearsed by Xiamen Huli District Jiafuyun Art Troupe and other grass-roots units, such as "Matang Spirit · A Rural Chinese Dream", "Song Zai", "A Village Brings the Opera", "Bang Gudong", "Ashi Persuades the Husband", "Double Lance Heroes", and "Reunion", which are rich in connotation and lively, and strongly reflect the vigorous appearance of mass cultural activities in our province. 11 actors/performers from professional troupes, including Pan Wenlong, Chen Zhuping and Zheng Xiaohui, who participated in the individual awards, demonstrated the professional quality of the backbone of the provincial folk art team with solid artistic performances; Sixteen folk art lovers from all walks of life, including Yang Ming, Chen Xiaomei and Cai Kaining, showed their talents in the competition and competed for individual awards from non professional troupes.

After the competition, the judging group will select and select the program award, screenwriter award, performance award, new talent award and other four awards to be awarded according to the comprehensive performance of the program and players, and the competition is successfully concluded.

It is reported that this competition has a great innovation compared with the previous ones. In terms of the duration of works, from the previous 12 minute time limit requirements, it has been adjusted to three categories of duration: large (more than 90 minutes), medium (about 60 minutes), and small (less than 20 minutes); In terms of award setting, performers will be included in the "Performance Award" for evaluation, and more attention will be paid to quyi performance with practical measures. The brand of "Fujian Quyi Dan Gui Award" has been steadily and step by step, and the 10th session has been successful. Fujian Quyi Artists Association has gradually found a way to run a Quyi contest in line with Fujian's local development by virtue of vivid Quyi practice and active innovation and exploration. This award has become an important leading project for Fujian Quyi Artists Association to promote new people to produce high-quality products Fujian folk art circle sprints to the elite cradle of national level event performance.
