Windows 11 has been released for some time, but its overall market share is still less than Windows 10, which is an old tradition of Microsoft's system. However, with the in-depth update of Windows 11, the Windows 10 system will also enter the final stage.

Previously, Microsoft announced that it planned to end the official update of Windows 10 in less than two years, which means that Windows 10 will come to an end. However, according to the data of research institutions, the proportion of Windows 10 users is still as high as 67%. At the same time, 3.34% of users are still using Windows 7, and 0.64% of users are still using the Windows XP system that officially stopped supporting ten years ago.

Recently, Microsoft has set the final date for Windows 10: October 14, 2025, when Windows 10 will officially exit the stage of history. Before that, users had more than one year to upgrade Windows 11 for free, and Microsoft also confirmed that eligible Windows 10 PCs would be upgraded for free until 2025.
