From January to July, the added value of large-scale industries increased by 2.3% year on year.
The production and supply of electricity, heat, gas and water grew rapidly. In July, the added value of power, heat, gas and water production and supply industries increased by 16.9% year on year, driving the growth of provincial scale industries by 1.6 percentage points.
Key industries are developing well. In July, 16 of the 39 large-scale industries in the province achieved growth, with a growth rate of 41.0%. Among key industries, the added value of non-ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, ferrous metal smelting and rolling processing industry, computer, communication and other electronic equipment manufacturing industry, special equipment manufacturing industry, oil, coal and other fuel processing industry, tobacco products industry, and automobile manufacturing industry increased by 12.9%, 11.7%, 8.2%, 6.0%, 4.8%, 4.2%, and 3.5% year on year respectively.
The equipment manufacturing industry continued to recover. In July, the added value of the equipment manufacturing industry increased by 3.1% year on year. In terms of products, construction machinery is gradually warming up. In July, the output of concrete machinery doubled year on year, casting machinery increased by 36.7%, cranes increased by 32.4%, and engines increased by 18.1%.
