Jiaotong University Law is a legal academic journal sponsored by Shanghai Jiaotong University, edited by Kaiyuan Law School of Shanghai Jiaotong University, and published by Shanghai Jiaotong University Press. It was founded in 2010, and initially published two volumes in the form of books instead of periodicals. In 2012, it was officially approved to be published in journals. Since 2017, this journal has become a CSSCI expanded version of law source journal. From 2022, this magazine will be published bimonthly.
The Law of Jiaotong University is headed by Professor Peng Chengxin and edited by Professor Wang Xianlin. With the basic purpose of "the concept of justice, China's problems, the world's vision, and empirical analysis", this magazine pursues the academic policy of a hundred schools of thought contending, encourages theoretical innovation, advocates the method of institutional comparison, promotes the research of legal hermeneutics based on the evaluation of typical cases, aims at the forefront of legal research and legal development, and deeply discusses various major and specific legal issues.
The main columns of the Law of Jiaotong University include "interdisciplinary and interdisciplinary law", "scientific and technological innovation and digital rule of law", "new law and new knowledge", "discussion and views"; In addition, columns such as "judge case review" and "book review" will be flexibly set as supplements. This journal generally adopts independent signed manuscripts, and implements three rounds of review and two-way anonymous review system according to the requirements of academic standards and academic norms.
The editorial department of Jiaotong University Law owns the copyright of works published in Jiaotong University Law. The author shall ensure that the copyright of his work does not infringe the copyright of other individuals or organizations, and the contributions must be in the same language without being published in any paper or electronic media in advance. The translator shall ensure that the translation does not infringe any possible rights of the original author or publisher, and shall bear the liability for damages when possible damages occur, and the editorial department or any member thereof shall not bear any liability arising therefrom. The Law Journal of Jiaotong University welcomes the reprint, excerpt, translation and collective publication of published articles, but should respect the rights of the original author in accordance with the Copyright Law, and when implementing the reprint, it should indicate "transferred from the Law Journal of Jiaotong University, Issue x, xxxx" and the signature of the original author and the translator. At the same time, it should notify the editorial department of the Law Journal of Jiaotong University that there is no charge for reprinting articles.
