Introduction to Langfang

Langfang City is located in the middle of Hebei Province to the east, bordering Kyoto in the north, Jinmen in the east, Cangzhou in the south, and Baoding in the west. It is located between Beijing and Tianjin and in the hinterland of the Bohai Sea, known as the "Pearl on the Beijing Tianjin Corridor". In April 1989, it was approved by the State Council as a prefecture level city under the jurisdiction of the province. Now it has jurisdiction over Guangyang District and Anci District, two county-level cities of Sanhe and Bazhou, and six counties of Dachang, Xianghe, Yongqing, Gu'an, Wen'an and Dacheng. 90 townships and 3222 administrative villages, covering an area of 6429 square kilometers. According to household registration statistics, the total population of the city at the end of 2005 was 3.916 million. The urban planning area is 70 square kilometers, the completed area is 54 square kilometers, and the population is 400000. The infrastructure here is perfect. Langfang has developed transportation, convenient communication and prosperous market. The urban area is far from Beijing and Tianjin center
