In the first four months of this year, the production and sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 2.291 million and 2.222 million respectively, with an average year-on-year growth of 42.8%. From the perspective of monthly trend, in the first four months of this year, the growth rate of production and sales of new energy vehicles showed a trend of low opening, high going and accelerating.

From the perspective of the international market, from January to April, China exported 348000 new energy vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 1.7 times. More than 10000 cars of various brands are waiting to be shipped to sea at a ro ro terminal in Waigaoqiao Port District, Shanghai.

Chen Shihua, deputy secretary-general of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, said that although the substantial year-on-year growth of production and sales had the impact of the low base effect in the same period last year, on the whole, the development of the new energy automobile industry was stable, and the industrial supply capacity and supply quality were constantly improving, which is becoming an important force to stabilize the industry.

The National Development and Reform Commission and the National Energy Administration recently issued the Implementation Opinions on Accelerating the Construction of Charging Infrastructure to Better Support the New Energy Vehicles Going to the Countryside and Rural Revitalization, proposing to accelerate the realization of "full coverage of counties and counties" for charging stations and "full coverage of villages and towns" for charging piles in areas suitable for the use of new energy vehicles, and enhance the support and guarantee capacity of rural power grids, Gradually solve the "blocking points" and "pain points" of purchasing and using new energy vehicles in rural areas.

Industry insiders believe that China's new energy vehicle industry has entered the expansion period of comprehensive marketization, but the profitability, independent innovation and comprehensive competitiveness of the industrial chain need to be further improved. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology said that it was working with relevant departments to study and introduce relevant policies and measures to stabilize automobile consumption and expand domestic demand growth. At the same time, we will accelerate the technological breakthrough and industrial application of new system batteries, automotive chips, automotive operating systems and other technologies, and improve the overall competitiveness and development quality of the new energy vehicle industry.
