From June 12 to 13, the Political and Legal Affairs Committee of Jinshan District Committee and the District Party School jointly held the 2024 Political and Legal Cadres Training Class. Tang Weixing, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee and secretary of the Political and Legal Committee, mobilized for the opening of the class, and Bao Huimin, president of the District Court, presided over the opening ceremony.

Comrade Tang Weixing pointed out that the holding of this training course is of great significance for building a political and legal team that is particularly loyal, especially strong and upright. He stressed that first, we should focus on "learning", build consensus and deeply understand the significance of this training. Holding this training course is an urgent need to adapt to the development of the situation and a powerful move to consolidate political construction. Second, we should take "practice" as the basis, learn deeply and understand thoroughly, and focus on grasping the objectives and requirements of this training. We should correct our learning attitude, work hard on learning, thinking, practicing and understanding, and be realistic and pragmatic in style. Third, we should focus on "doing", integrate knowledge with practice, and thoroughly practice the transformation of the results of this training. Through this training, the learning achievements should be transformed into the mission of performing duties for the people, the political and legal guarantee of serving the overall situation, and the spiritual guidance of team building, so as to make greater contributions to the overall planning of high-level safety and high-quality development.

At the meeting, Shen Yongbing, member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee, secretary of the District Discipline Inspection Commission, and director of the District Supervision Commission, was invited to give all political and legal cadres a special training on party discipline learning and education in accordance with the requirements of promoting the overall strict management of the party and police.

The training course also arranged rich courses, including Zhang Yao, director of the Marine and Polar Research Center of the Shanghai Institute of International Studies, who wrote Current International Situation and China's Diplomacy, Sun Yeqing, professor of the Party School of the Municipal Party Committee, who wrote Correct Understanding and Vigorously Promoting Chinese Modernization Ma Jiazheng, a researcher of the Digital Government Construction Research Center of the Party School of the Municipal Committee of the CPC, wrote "Public Opinion Guidance and Crisis Response in the New Media Environment", and Zhang Dawei, an associate professor of the Party School of the Songjiang District Committee of the CPC, wrote a special training on "Viewing the Spiritual Realm of Communists from Mao Zedong's Poetry".

All team members, middle-level cadres' representatives, responsible persons of towns, streets and parks, director of the Safety Office and secretary of the Party branch of the Comprehensive Administration Center participated in the training.
