The activity focused on continuously meeting the growing demand for legal services for the disabled, including six measures to improve the barrier free service function of the platform, improve the quality of legal aid services, develop specialized legal services, carry out voluntary legal services for the disabled, increase the reduction of service fees, and create a good legal atmosphere for the disabled, and proposed:

Further strengthen the barrier free environment construction of the public legal service platform, open a "green channel" for the disabled, provide appointment free, queue free, priority services, and conditionally arrange special personnel to provide escort guidance, sign language translation, book agency, legal advice, etc.

Priority shall be given to the acceptance, examination and assignment of legal aid cases for the disabled, and the whole process of monitoring and evaluation shall be implemented. Establish and improve the legal aid cooperation mechanism in different places to reduce the cost of protecting the rights of the disabled in different places.

Excavate and cultivate institutions that are good at legal services for the disabled, cultivate professional legal service personnel, establish and improve the legal service talent pool for the disabled, and focus on giving play to professional advantages.

Guide social organizations and volunteers to carry out legal services for the disabled, support conditional public legal service entity platforms to set up volunteer service windows, explore personalized customized voluntary legal services, and promote menu services. Support institutions of higher learning and research institutions to carry out research on legal services for the disabled.

In accordance with the law, the disabled recipients of legal aid cases will be exempted from notarization fees and appraisal fees, encouraged to introduce more price reduction policies, and guided qualified legal service institutions to expand the scope of fee reduction.

Carry out a series of publicity activities with the theme of the protection of the rights and interests of the disabled, release typical cases of the protection of the rights and interests of the disabled, organize legal knowledge publicity in special education schools, disabled service institutions and other places, and publicize public legal services for helping and protecting the disabled through television, radio, network platforms, etc.
