Shanghai is the first city in China to include the density of robots in the statistics. The so-called robot density refers to the number of robots per 10000 employees. At present, the robot density of Shanghai's key industrial enterprises above designated size has reached 426 sets/10000 people, ranking the world's leading level.

Chinese robots are still accelerating to the world, and the "circle of friends" is becoming wider and wider. At the recent Hanover Industrial Expo in Germany, Jieka Robot launched its first new product, demonstrating the global layout and practice of self transformation and industrial automation of Chinese robots. In particular, Jieka has become the first domestic cooperative robot manufacturer to obtain SRCI (Standard Robot Command Interface) certification, which means that Jieka has integrated into the supply chain system of international leading industrial users, providing greater opportunities and potential for them to expand overseas markets.

"Based on the process library accumulated by artificial intelligence and big data, the robot's intelligent perception, trajectory planning, operation accuracy, and interaction ability are constantly optimized. Cooperative robots make the use experience of 'machine learners' easier, and workers can use it after simple training." Li Mingyang said.

It is expected in the industry that as the production mode gradually develops from standardization, batch and scale to personalization, small batch and multi frequency, robots will be embedded in the whole production process as the smallest work unit, driving new industries with new applications and leveraging the large market with small scenes.

According to the "Robot+" Application Action Implementation Plan jointly issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other 17 departments in 2023, by 2025, the density of manufacturing robots will double that of 2020, the depth and breadth of application of service robots and special robots will be significantly improved, and the ability of robots to promote high-quality economic and social development will be significantly enhanced.

Zhang Ying, director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Economy and Information Technology, said that "Robot+" is serving people in more fields. Relying on "one industry, one policy", "hierarchical classification" and "one plant with multiple scenes", Shanghai is promoting ten thousand industrial robots into intelligent factories. It is estimated that the density of robots in key industries will reach 500 per ten thousand people by 2025.

At the same time, Shanghai is accelerating the construction of a national innovation center for humanoid robot manufacturing industry, accelerating the research and development of key technologies such as open source humanoid robot prototypes, tackling key problems and specific intelligent models, and creating an innovation ecosystem integrating technology research and development, achievement incubation, talent cultivation, and platform support.
