On April 1, together with Oerling Ocean Link, Tetsu Group announced the completion of its investment in hotel MONday, a Japanese hotel chain brand. After entering Indonesia in July of last year, Detog Group has released its determination to further develop the Asia Pacific market through this investment, and its commercial territory will further expand.

Delonix Group currently owns and operates ten core brands including Kaiyuan Mingdu, Kaiyuan Mingting, Guantang, Ruby Hotels Treasure Hotel, and 1440 contracted and managed hotels in more than 200 cities in China. The member system "Baida House" calculates member points based on the length of stay. Its first cross brand "10 nights for one night" benefit is widely welcomed by consumers, with nearly 35 million members.

Ocean Link is a private equity fund focusing on travel, consumption and Internet industries, and is also the founding investor of Deyu Group.

It is reported that hotel MONday is an emerging hotel chain group in Japan. Its 24 mid tier hotels and apartment hotels are located in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, of which 20 are located in Tokyo. All the hotels in operation are located in the core tourism areas of each city, with hotel Monday, hotel Monday Apartment and other brands. With superior geographical location, modern Japanese style new properties and convenient functional design, they have become popular choices for tourists in Tokyo and other places, and are deeply loved by local Japanese and overseas tourists.

This investment in hotel MONday is of great strategic significance to the Asia Pacific layout of Doyle Group. First, Japan's tourism market with high potential can be positioned in advance. Since the establishment of the strategy of "building a country through tourism", the Japanese government has implemented the policy of easing entry and national travel support. Relevant data show that the number of foreign tourists visiting Japan in November 2023 has recovered to the pre epidemic level, and the recovery rate has reached 100% for two consecutive months.

Focusing on the domestic market, after the selfish transformation of Kaiyuan Hotel Group, Deyu Group reorganized its hotel brands. Among them, Kaiyuan Mingdu is favored by market consumers with its excellent service and operation ability, and is firmly ranked among domestic high-end Guofeng hotels. At the same time, Kaiyuan Mingting, a subsidiary of Kaiyuan Mingting, has rapidly laid out core areas such as CBD and 100 billion business districts in major new first tier cities across the country, as well as top transport hubs. Its brand size and market share rank among the top ten high-end hotel chains in China in 2022 of the China Hotel Association.

In addition, Detog Group has rapidly opened up the domestic market and achieved rapid growth with its membership system of "time as the integral measurement standard", which is the first in the industry. The number of members is nearly 35 million.

It is worth mentioning that in January 2024, with its rich experience in local hotel development and operation, strong brand influence, and high-value membership system of Baida House, Deyu Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Marriott International Hotel Group. We will jointly promote the selection of Kaiyuan Mingdu brand and Wanhao Zhenpin brand, and the long-term development in the Chinese market through the new dual brand cooperation model.

Looking at the Asia Pacific market, in July 2023, Doyle Group will become the major shareholder of the management platform of Indonesia's Zui Hotel, which includes Swiss Belhotel and Artotel hotel brands.

Less than half a year later, Tetsu Group announced its investment in hotel MONday, a Japanese hotel brand. This series of actions are of great significance to the layout of Doyle Group in the Asia Pacific market, and demonstrate the confidence in building a truly integrated, technical support and market leading hotel group in the region.

At present, the commercial territory of Doyle Group has expanded to 20 brands, about 1440 hotels in operation and contracted and more than 204000 rooms.
