1、 Activity intention

For modern Chinese, the image of the dragon is more of a symbol, an idea, and a flesh and blood emotion. Students are both familiar with and fond of the image of the dragon. He was also excited and proud of the titles of "descendants of the dragon" and "descendants of the dragon". In addition to spreading and inheriting the dragon culture on the land of China, it was also brought to the rest of the world by overseas Chinese. Therefore, the "descendants of the dragon" and the "kingdom of the dragon" have also been recognized by the world. Dragon is the unique cultural creation, concept creation and symbol creation of Chinese people. "The spirit of the dragon" is the symbol of the Chinese nation, the symbol of China's five thousand years of great history, and the symbol of the rising great Chinese people's diligence, courage, perseverance, bold creation, integrity and harmony. Therefore, on the auspicious day of the Year of the Dragon, our school organizes students to carry out the activity of "drawing dragons in the Year of the Dragon", which not only exercises students' modeling ability, but also cultivates their aesthetic awareness.

By carrying out the activity of "Painting the Dragon in the Year of the Dragon", we will actively create more opportunities, so that every child can find their own bright spots, apply points to areas, and give full play to their potential, so that children can gain more dragon spirit in the activity. To further shape the good image of our school by showing our "Dragon Painting in the Year of the Dragon" activity to parents and the society; Through this activity, students can experience the happiness of collective cooperation in active participation, reflecting a positive, optimistic and enterprising spirit. Through this activity, students will be inspired to love life, study and Chinese traditional culture, and celebrate a meaningful and memorable Children's Day. 4、 Activity requirements

（1） Art teachers of all grades should do a good job of inspiration and guidance to ensure the participation rate of students.

（2） Work requirements

1. The types of art works include simple strokes, watercolor, gouache, traditional Chinese painting, sketch, and handicraft. Innovation is advocated in conception and technique, and the size of plane works is four or eight.

2. Calligraphy works shall not exceed four feet of rice paper, with no limit on font, and the number of characters shall not be less than 8.

3. The name of the works, the name of the author and the class of the selected calligraphy and painting works shall be indicated.

5、 Selection method

（1） The school will organize a jury to select some excellent works from the entries and compile them into a volume.

（2） Three class collective awards, three student grand prizes, six first prizes, ten second prizes, twenty third prizes, and several commemorative awards were set up for the exhibition, and medals were given to encourage them.

（3） Exhibition time: mid May.
