Event design background
Water resource is a kind of resource on which all animals and plants on the earth depend for survival. Water resource creates life on the earth and cultivates all life. Without water resource, all our animals and plants cannot survive. Therefore, we must protect water resources well and stop polluting water resources.
Activity objectives
1. Understand the importance of water protection and the pollution of water resources.
2. Educate children to love water resources and learn some specific methods to protect water quality.
Teaching focus and difficulty
Key points: understand the importance of protecting water resources.
Difficulty: Know how to protect water resources.
Activity preparation
1. A wall map of the polluted river
2. 2 fish tanks: 1 tank of clean water (with fish inside), 1 tank of sewage
Activity process
1. Guide children to observe the wall chart and the harm of sewage.
(1) The harm of sewage to living things. Instruct children to observe the fish in clear water and describe their living conditions (swimming freely). Ask what would happen if the fish were put into the sewage? Observe the activity changes of fish in sewage (disorderly jumping, dyspnea). Catch the fish in the clear water tank, and restore the vitality. Summary: Clear water is useful, people can drink it, and fish can live. There are harmful substances in the sewage. People cannot drink it, and animals such as fish and shrimp cannot live in it.
(2) The harm of sewage to human beings. Inspire children to recall and observe the polluted river in the wall chart. Question: Why does the water in some rivers around us become dirty and smelly? When water is polluted, what impact will it have on our lives? (People get sick)
2. Organize children to discuss how the water gets dirty. (The sewage in the factory is directly discharged into the river, and some people pour garbage and dirty things into the river... so that the clear water becomes dirty, and animals cannot survive. If people drink sewage and eat plants growing in sewage, our health will be threatened. Therefore, it is everyone's responsibility to protect water resources and save water.
3. Organize children to discuss how to make water resources clean and how to save water. (After the discussion, the teacher asks questions and summarizes)
