1. Overview
POTOP small precision double roll open mill is an open intermittent mixing equipment for plastic materials, which is composed of two parallel rollers with adjustable gap. Its main function is to mix and plasticize the evenly mixed raw materials, so as to provide the evenly mixed and plasticized molten materials for the calender calendering. In the rubber mixing process, the open mill mainly relies on two relatively rotating rollers to squeeze and shear the rubber. After many times of kneading and the accompanying chemical action in the kneading process, the macromolecular chains inside the rubber are broken, so that various components inside the rubber are mixed evenly, and then the purpose of rubber mixing is achieved
2. Main applications
This equipment is a kind of polymer mixing integrating rubber and plastic mixing, plasticizing and tablet forming
Forming equipment. Its main uses are:
(1) Mixing of rubber and plastic
The rubber or plastics of different types and brands and additives are kneaded and extruded by the force generated by the relative movement of two rollers of a small precision double roll open mill, so that each component is evenly dispersed and mixed into a uniform system;
(2) Plasticization of rubber and plastic
The plasticizing and plasticizing of rubber and plastic are completed under the double action of mechanical shear force of two rollers and roller surface temperature of small precision double roll mill;
(3) Plasticizing of rubber
Adding various additives to the rubber material can use the small precision double roll open mill to realize the rubber mixing process, complete the cutting and homogenization of the molecular chain to adapt to the subsequent processing;
(4) Preparation of simple sheets
The small precision double roll open mill can be used to press conventional rubber and plastic sheets and prepare small size test samples.
