Requirements for permeable concrete pavement base:
1. Thickness of pervious concrete pavement: it can be seen from the above that because of the strength of colored pervious concrete, it is mostly used in sidewalks, squares, parking lots, garden paths and other places. For light load ground such as sidewalk and bicycle lane, the thickness of surface layer is generally not less than 8cm; For medium load floors such as parking lots and squares, the surface layer thickness is not less than 10 cm. Considering the cost, the surface layer can be divided into two layers, that is, the surface layer is colored permeable concrete layer, the thickness is generally not less than 3 cm, and the lower layer is plain permeable concrete layer.
2. In order to ensure that the road structure layer has sufficient overall strength and water permeability, a permeable base course and a cushion with good water retention are required under the surface layer.
Base course requirements: on the compacted layer of plain soil layer, the base course materials used shall have proper strength and good water permeability. Graded gravel or graded crushed stone shall be used. When graded crushed stone is used, the large particle size of crushed stone shall be less than 0.7 times the thickness of the base course, and not more than 50mm.
The cushion is generally made of natural crushed stone with particle size less than 10mm, commonly known as melon seed slice, and paved with a certain thickness, and paved evenly.
