Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, met with the media before attending the executive meeting on the 11th and said that for the first time, Hong Kong payload experts were selected as national reserve astronauts, writing down the glorious history of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. This is the good news that Hong Kong is proud of, and I am very excited and encouraged about it. He thanked the central government for caring about Hong Kong and giving Hong Kong people the opportunity to participate in the selection. He thought it was a support and encouragement to Hong Kong's scientific and technological community. Li Jiachao said that university research teams in Hong Kong have provided scientific research and instruments for the national aerospace project for many times, and the first Hong Kong preparatory astronaut has emerged, proving the national strength of Hong Kong's innovative talents. The Macao SAR government said that Macao's first payload expert was selected as the national reserve astronaut, which demonstrated the central government's high attention and support for Macao's scientific and technological innovation, made Macao take an important step in the field of aerospace science and technology, was an honor of the Macao Special Administrative Region, and also sent a strong encouraging message to Macao's young people.
