Data shows that in April this year, the number of mainland visitors to Hong Kong was about 2.48 million, and the number of non mainland visitors to Hong Kong was about 900000. The number of non mainland visitors to Hong Kong increased by more than 50% year on year.

Li Jiachao, Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, met with the media on the 14th before attending the executive meeting, and said that in addition to welcoming tourists with different grand events and wonderful activities, the SAR government will introduce a series of measures to greet tourists, including the Tourism Development Bureau will distribute 200 Hong Kong dollars coupons to tourists who have joined eight new "personal tourism" cities.
