Our reporter from Macao, March 27 (reporter Fu Zimei) learned from the Economic and Technological Development Bureau of the Macao Special Administrative Region Government that a total of 10 technology enterprises in the second round of the "Technology Enterprise Certification Plan" were certified, covering the fields of traditional Chinese medicine, integrated circuits, new materials, information technology, chemical industry, etc., of which 2 were "key technology enterprises" and 8 were "potential technology enterprises" 。 So far, there have been 24 enterprises certified as science and technology enterprises.

In order to coordinate with the "1+4" moderately diversified development strategy of the SAR government and accelerate the development of high-tech industries, the Economic and Technological Development Bureau launched the "Certification Plan for Science and Technology Enterprises" last year. In May and November of each year, the application will be opened to select local qualified technology enterprises, and the certification qualification of "potential technology enterprises", "growth technology enterprises" or "key technology enterprises" will be granted from the lowest to the highest according to the evaluation results, with a validity period of three years.

For certified scientific and technological enterprises, the SAR government actively provides various types of support measures. For example, the "Enterprise Innovation R&D Funding Plan" of the Science and Technology Development Fund has set up a special application category for certified enterprises, and has increased efforts to support certified enterprises to carry out innovation R&D activities, with a subsidy amount of up to MOP 5 million.
