The hospital is next to the nursing home. Build a green channel and provide medical resources nearby
The Summer Palace Health Care Center is a private nursing home in Shihezi, located in Zone C of Shihezi Economic Development Zone Hospital. They rented three floors here, separated from the hospital.
"Renting the building of the hospital is to make good use of medical resources." Cheng Guodi, the president of the nursing home, said, "Our former hospital site was relatively remote. "The hospital has opened two 'green channels' for us. "It is deliberate to rent the hospital area to the nursing home. When designing and constructing this new hospital area in 2016, we made advance consideration and reserved space for exploring the combination of medical care and nursing care." The three-level medical and nursing service system has been initially established
"We have 450 beds, and at the most time, we have more than 440 elderly people. Of these elderly people, 60% are disabled." Liang Xiaoxi, president of Shihezi Tianjian Nursing Home, said that the rehabilitation and care of disabled and semi disabled elderly people is a big problem for ordinary families.
"The children will worry about taking care of themselves, and they will be exhausted physically and mentally, but they may not be able to take care of them well; they will not trust the elderly when they are handed over to the nursing home, for fear that the elderly will be wronged." We also encourage and support elderly care service institutions to provide medical and health services for elderly residents through the mode of setting up internal medical institutions or cooperating with surrounding medical institutions." "We have responsible doctors on every floor of the nursing home. At night, we also arrange doctors on duty. Regular and irregular, we will organize doctors to visit." In Shihezi, there are 32 elderly care institutions with 5622 beds. Among them, there are 29 private pension institutions, accounting for more than 90% of the total number of beds. Through reconstruction, expansion, leasing and other ways, Shihezi has built 6 medical and nursing institutions, and 26 nursing homes have opened clinics. A three-level medical and nursing service system led by large public hospitals and group hospitals, supplemented by private elderly care institutions, and supported by community health service stations and other platforms has been initially established.
