Yu Yan introduced that "PUA" can be used to judge the three stages of cervical spondylosis:

P refers to Pain, which belongs to the early stage of cervical spondylosis. It is characterized by pain in the neck and often falls on the pillow, which needs attention.

U refers to Unilateral, which belongs to the second stage of cervical spondylosis. It shows pain and numbness on one side of the upper limb and needs to go to the hospital.

A refers to Abnormal, which is the most serious stage of cervical spondylosis. The hands and feet will show abnormal posture, such as walking and floating. The hands are clumsy. The hands cannot play with mobile phones or hold chopsticks. They need to go to the hospital for treatment.

In the early "P" stage of cervical spondylosis, cervical exercises can relieve cervical pain. This set of cervical exercises includes 5 movements:

First, retract your chin for five seconds.

Second, slowly raise your head and extend to the left and right.

Third, the arm stretches, stretching from 9 o'clock to 11 o'clock.

Fourth, the upper limbs are W-shaped, which are adducted when inhaled and abducted when exhaled.

Fifth, extend the shoulder blade, lift one hand, and place the elbow of the other hand In the middle, keep the raised hand still, and pull with the other hand to feel a strong sense of traction of the scapula.

Yu Yan said that after the above cervical exercise, if the pain is relieved, you can do it three to five times a week for about half an hour every day. If the pain is not relieved, you are recommended to go to the hospital in time.
