XiXi Wetland
AAAAA Grade A scenic spot
Xixi Wetland National Park is the first and only national wetland park integrating urban wetland, agricultural wetland and cultural wetland in China. Xixi Wetland National Park, a national AAAAA tourist attraction, is located in the west of Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. It is five kilometers away from Hangzhou West Lake and in the extension of Hangzhou Tianmu Mountain Road. It is a rare secondary wetland in the city. The park, together with the West Lake and Xiling, was once known as the "Three West" of Hangzhou. About 70% of the area of the park consists of river ports, ponds, lakes and marshes, which is the so-called "a winding stream and a winding smoke". The six rivers in the whole park intersect vertically and horizontally, with waterways like lanes, river branches like nets, fish ponds like scales, and islands like checkerboard patterns [View details]
