People's Daily Online, Meitan, April 7 (reporter Tu Min) On April 3, in the 10000 mu tea sea scenic spot in Meitan County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, rows of green tea trees were arranged in order. Meitan 10000 mu Tea Sea Scenic Spot is now planted with more than 43000 mu tea trees in succession, and its core area is nearly 13000 mu, making it the world's largest tea garden in succession. In recent years, Meitan has explored and formed a coordinated urban and rural development pattern of promoting tourism with tea and prospering tea with tourism in accordance with the development idea of "tea areas become scenic spots, tea gardens become parks, and tea mountains become golden mountains", such as the integration of tea tourism and agriculture tourism. In 2023, Meitan will produce 72100 tons of tea with an output value of 7.503 billion yuan, ranking first among the "Top 100 Counties in China's Tea Industry" for four consecutive years.
