In recent years, Lingfeng Town, Babu District, Hezhou City has always played a leading role in party building, taking cultivating and developing characteristic industries and strengthening the village collective economy as the fundamental way to increase people's income and become rich. In June 2019, a new village level collective economic industry project in Lingfeng Town came into being - the beef cattle breeding demonstration base in Lingfeng Town was established.
The beef cattle breeding demonstration base relies on the advantages of environmental resources and technical support, adopts the development model of "Party branch+cooperative+base+company", and develops the village level collective economy with the collective economic organizations of the villagers' cooperative alliance as the main body. Since the proposal was put forward in early 2019, after many market and field investigations, Integrating the resources of the village cooperatives of three administrative villages in the town, the self raised funds of 300000 yuan were sought for municipal and district level financial support funds of 500000 yuan. In June 2019, the village cooperatives of three villages jointly established a beef cattle breeding demonstration base, and established the entity economy Hezhou Ben Niu Xinfeng Breeding Co., Ltd. In 2019, a total investment of 800000 yuan will be made to breed 50 hybrid yellow cattle. In 2020, we will continue to apply for financial support funds of 500000 yuan from the central and autonomous regions, increase capital investment, and continue to expand the scale of breeding, expand development and business channels.
Up to now, the breeding demonstration base has sold 20 beef cattle, with a total sales of more than 300000 yuan and a net profit income of about 100000 yuan, which has driven more than 50 farmers in the town to participate in beef cattle breeding, including more than 20 poor households to participate in the breeding, bringing about a total economic income of more than 2 million yuan for beef cattle farmers in the town.
