Guan Yun: Xiaoyi Town Post disaster Reconstruction Resettlement Housing Successfully Delivered

Affected by the "July 20" tornado disaster last year, houses in Qianjin Village, Xiaoyi Town were severely damaged. After the disaster, our county quickly started the post disaster reconstruction and resettlement work. After a year of efforts, the delivery of post disaster reconstruction and resettlement houses has been completed a few days ago, and the affected people have been properly resettled.

Walk into the post disaster reconstruction and resettlement area of Yihe New Village Phase II, and you will see rows of neat and new buildings. It is understood that the total number of houses to be rebuilt in different places is 73, 56 of which are used to resettle the affected villagers. There are three types of new houses for villagers to choose according to their actual needs. At present, the infrastructure in the resettlement area is basically complete, and the villagers are continuing to decorate their houses, looking forward to moving in.

Since last year, Xiaoyi Town has taken the post disaster rural housing reconstruction work as a major livelihood project and political task, given full play to the enthusiasm and initiative of the work, reversed the construction period according to the time nodes, carried out wall chart operations, optimized the design layout, and the relevant departments took their own responsibilities, coordinated and linked, and made full use of the resettlement policy to let the affected people move into new homes as soon as possible.

It is reported that the planning and design scheme of the resettlement house was launched on July 21 last year. After the scheme was approved and combined with the wishes of the masses, the way of unified planning and self construction was adopted to relocate the disaster stricken people in Qianjin Village. A total of 73 sets of 11 buildings will be built in the resettlement area, including 3 sets of elderly housing, 50 sets of four bedroom housing with an area of 155 square meters, and 20 sets of three bedroom housing with an area of 129 square meters. The project has been delivered at the end of June.
