Every winter, the temperature of minus ten degrees is the hardest season for children in many remote areas. They wore thin clothes during the day, and did not have a thick and warm quilt at night. They curled up and did not know how to spend this slowly cold winter night.  
When we talk about poetry and distant fields, we often imagine beautiful pictures. However, when the filter is stripped, the real life of children left behind in the mountains is impressive. Their life, no poetry and distant romance, only the reality of the cruel and helpless.

In the interview and survey of our volunteers, the story of a left behind male classmate was impressive. He is usually silent, but his secret was discovered by a volunteer teacher accidentally. It turned out that his parents had gone out to work, and he and his grandfather depended on each other. In the cold winter, there was only one quilt at home, so he and grandpa could only huddle together for warmth. In order to let grandpa have a warm sleep, he gets up quietly every night and covers his grandpa with quilt, but he can only stand the cold and barely cover half of his body with the rest of the quilt.
These children, their sensible and clever people love. Their small bodies seem to contain huge energy, so that they can persist in the difficult life. They know that their parents go out to work for a living, and they understand their parents' hard work and helplessness. Therefore, they have learned to be strong and independent, and to care for their families in their own way.

The stories of these left behind children show us the difficulty and tenacity of life. They interpret the value and meaning of life in their own way. They are sensible and strong, but also eager for warmth and love. Their stories also make us cherish our lives more and pay more attention to those who need help.
In order to let those sensible children in the deep mountain have a warm night and let their dreams no longer be awakened by the cold, we know that we have a great responsibility. Every cold winter night, they are looking forward to having a warm quilt, so that they can get together with their parents in a dream and feel the warmth and love they have missed for a long time.
At the same time, we also understand the feelings of parents who work in other countries. They run for life, but they often care about the children in their hometown. Every phone call and every letter are filled with their deep thoughts and worries. We hope that through our efforts, we can ease their concerns and enable them to work outside more confidently.
And those elderly grandparents have paid too much for the growth of their grandchildren. Their backs are more and more bent, but their hearts are always open for children. We hope that through our actions, we can make them more confident about the growth of their grandchildren and let them know that there are many people in the society who care about these children and they will not be alone.

However, we can do too little. Therefore, we are here to launch a fund-raising activity, hoping to gather everyone's love and strength to buy quilts for these children. A quilt, although seemingly simple and practical, can provide a life guarantee and spiritual warmth for children left behind. Let us hand in hand to send them this love and warmth, so that they can feel the care and support of society.
We believe that every donation is a love, and every love can converge into a huge force. Let us work together for the future of these left behind children, so that they can have a better tomorrow.  

Project budget
The donation plan is to distribute a love quilt package to the left behind children in economically underdeveloped rural areas. The quilt (4 kg) and quilt cover are a love package, so that they will no longer be cold in winter and night

The project amount budget may fluctuate slightly according to market changes, and the current market price shall prevail during project implementation.
Among them, 5% of the total amount of funds raised is the public offering management fee, and 5% of the total amount of funds raised is the project implementation cost of the executing agency, which is used for the travel and inspection of personnel, volunteer subsidies, and office administrative expenses during the implementation process.

Execution plan
(1) Implementation time: October 2024 April 2025
(2) Assistance area: underdeveloped rural areas in China
(3) Recipients: rural primary and secondary school students or regional boarding schools;
(4) Screening criteria: Volunteers will go to the countryside to visit and investigate the left behind children who meet the assistance standards;

The Beijing Apple Charity Foundation, which was launched in 2003, is a 5A level public offering foundation with large scale, long duration and wide coverage for Tibet and Tibetan related prefectures and counties in four provinces.
