This bidding will determine the host city of the event in 2025 and 2026.
BLAST recently announced that it will launch the bidding process for another host city for the upcoming BLAST Tour in 2025-2026, including five major projects, namely, Rocket League, Fortress Night, CS, Rainbow VI and Dota2.
BLAST has hosted a number of different events in recent years. They previously hosted BLAST.tv Paris Major in 2023 and RLCS Copenhagen Major earlier this year.
BLAST said that hosting e-sports events would help the local government develop its economy with the help of tourism. According to BLAST, their 2024 Six Invitational event in Sao Paulo has brought about 13 million dollars of related ancillary income for the local government.
Now BLAST is trying to expand its business scope, and they have entered the Dota2 project. At the same time, they are also consolidating their position in CS. It is rumored that they will host Major in Texas next summer.
