FaZe、 Liquid, Cloud9, G2 and other clubs are on the list.

Today, the E-sports World Cup (EWC) Foundation announced the 30 E-sports clubs that joined its first club support plan. The plan aims to "promote the establishment of sustainable infrastructure for multi project e-sports clubs". These clubs will be eligible for six figure financial support to expand their operations.

Specifically, Members of the EWC Club Support Program will receive annual economic rewards "based on their ability to promote the ratings and fan participation of the E-sports World Cup".

EWC Foundation said that since it received more than 150 applications from E-sports clubs in February this year, the Foundation increased the number of projects from 28 to 30.

Among the 30 members who joined the program, 8 clubs were selected according to the following criteria: the club's e-sports history, forward-looking competitive strategies and goals, and innovative initiatives in content and fan participation. The other 22 clubs are directly invited by the EWC Foundation.

As a follow-up event to the Oil Cup, the first E-sports World Cup will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 3 to August 25. In the eight week schedule, 20 competitions will be held, with a total bonus of 60 million dollars.

The CS project competition is scheduled to be held from July 17-21, and 15 teams from all over the world will compete for a prize of 1 million dollars, including FaZe Spirit and Natus Vincere.
