The National Arts Fund is a public welfare fund aimed at prospering artistic creation, creating and promoting excellent masterpieces, cultivating artistic talents, and promoting the healthy development of the national art cause. It is a national art creation project.

In the recently announced list of 2024 National Arts Fund funded projects, the acrobatic program "Sailing on the Sail - Shake the Bars" of Fujian Acrobatic Troupe was selected as a small drama program and work creation project among the funded projects.

The acrobatic program "Sailing and Breaking the Waves - Shake the Bars" uses the three elements of the Silk Road, Fu Boat and Fu Deng, and focuses on the acrobatic skills of "shaking the bars". It is integrated into the scene dance arrangement, showing the flourishing scene of "merchants from all over the world in the sound of rising sea", and the people in southern Fujian who fight with the sea by taking Fu Boats across the vast sea, expressing the fearless pioneering spirit of "striving to be strong in the sea and sailing with full sail" The spirit of striving and enterprising. The program uses such highly difficult skills as "straight body backward somersault on the bar with a rotation of 1440 degrees in four circles", "ball backward somersault on the bar with three circles", and "continuous backward somersault on the bar", which are at a high level at home and abroad. The program won the "Excellent Program Award" of the 11th National Acrobatic Exhibition held by the Ministry of Culture and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of China in 2023, and was recognized and praised by industry experts and audiences.

In recent years, the provincial acrobatic troupe has promoted the production of fine arts by focusing on producing fine works and talents. The selection of the project funded by the National Arts Fund is an affirmation of the solid work of all Fujian acrobats, and also a great encouragement.
